Volunteer Stay active while helping others You can volunteer anytime for Active Generations and stay active while helping others. We have over 1,000 volunteers in six different departments. While that may sound like a lot, there’s always the need for more. Volunteering through Active Generations provides you the opportunity to help your community and help others, all while learning new things and meeting new people. Active Generations is fortunate to have the best volunteer team in the Sioux Falls community. Over 450 volunteers help run Center programs, volunteer in the Day Break Program and are making a difference to homebound elderly through the Workers on Wheels program. The Center also has close to 700 volunteer drivers who help deliver noon meals to the homebound Monday through Friday.
