SHIINE is looking for volunteers to help Medicare beneficiaries in their community and are familiar with computers and the internet.

 

SHIINE volunteers assist senior citizens and the disabled population by:

• Helping compare plans
• Applying for financial assistance
• Helping resolve problems and answer questions
• Explaining eligibility requirements
• Assisting in filling out forms
• Resolving billing problems; and
• Other related issues.

Other volunteer opportunities available are: data input, filing and other office-related tasks, and hosts/hostesses during Open Enrollment Period each year (October 15 – December 7).
