This month, we are thrilled to highlight the many contributions of Veronica Stoneall in our Volunteer Spotlight! Veronica has been a dedicated member of Active Generations since 2015, consistently sharing her time, creativity, and talents with our community.
From her participation in the drama club to her love of line dancing, Veronica has enriched the lives of many members. Not only is she an active performer, but she also shines as an artist, piano player, and singer. Many of you may know her for the beautifully crafted Member Spotlight and Artist of the Month articles in our newsletter. For years, Veronica has been the voice behind these stories, skillfully capturing the unique talents and personalities of our members.
Veronica’s passion for the arts runs deep. She spent 41 years as an elementary art and music teacher, a career that stemmed from her studies at Dakota Wesleyan University, where she majored in music and art. Even in retirement, she remains a passionate creator. In her spare time, Veronica enjoys painting portraits, writing, and reading romance novels. Currently, she is working on a book!
We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to Veronica for all she has done for Active Generations, especially for her years of dedication to writing in the newsletter. As she steps away from this role, I, Chenise Weber, Member Services Director, will be taking over the Member Spotlight articles. Veronica’s impact on our community will continue to inspire us all, and we look forward to seeing her thrive in all her future creative endeavors!
