Welcome to the 2025 Summer Mixed Doubles Pickleball Ladder League at Active Generations!
Ready to play, compete, and have some fun this summer? Whether you're new to the game or a seasoned pro, we’ve got a spot for you! Grab a partner of a different gender and join us for a summer of Pickleball fun and friendly competition. Open to ages 12+ (with parent/guardian permission).
📋 League Details
- Dates: June 7 – July 20
(No games over 4th of July weekend) - Location: Active Generations East
(5500 E. Active Generations Pl, Sioux Falls, SD 57110) - Capacity: 16 teams per ladder (32 individual spots)
Divisions
- 🥇 Pickleball Pioneers: Beginner / Lower Intermediate
- 🏆 Smash Masters: Upper Intermediate / Advanced
🗓️ Session Schedule
- Pickleball Pioneers: Saturdays | 3:30 PM – 7:30 PM
- Smash Masters: Sundays | 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Cost
- $45 | Non-Members
- $30 | Active Generations Members
Format of Play
Each week, teams will play 3 games to 15 points (win by 1). Scores will be recorded to track weekly progress.
- Week 1 – Placement Games
- Weeks 2 - 4 – Ladder Play
- Weeks 5 - 6 – Playoffs (Single Elimination Tournament)
Playoffs: Best 2 out of 3 games to 11 points (win by 2).
Weekly Movement Rules
- Top score moves UP a court.
- Lowest score moves DOWN a court.
- Middle two teams stay.
- Tie? Higher ranked team stays.
Substitutions
- Can't make it? You're responsible for finding a sub (ladder play only). Need help? Contact Chad at (605) 695-7014.
- If both teammates are gone, subs may be provided — but your team will receive a zero score and drop a court.
- No subs allowed in playoffs unless due to injury or approved circumstances.
