Kathrine’s involvement with Active Generations is vast! She had the privilege of chairing the United Way Community Impact Team, where they conducted a thorough analysis of all aging-focused programs in the Sioux Empire. Through this work, she gained a deep understanding of the quality and importance of the services provided by Active Generations, including their financial management programs. She also served as President of the board of directors for Active Generations, where she firmly believes that board members should actively support and engage with the organizations they represent. When her father-in-law was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, Day Break/Adult Day Services became an invaluable resource for her family. Not only did he enjoy the enriching activities offered, but his time there also allowed her mother-in-law the freedom to attend respite care as a caregiver such as a hair appointment or take part in a church program, something she truly appreciated.
We thank Kathrine for her past engagement and her continued support for Active Generations and its programs!
