Falls are common among older adults, often leading to physical injury and psychological trauma.  At the national level, falls among the elderly also lead to high rates of morbidity and mortality.  In fact, falls are the leading cause of injury death among adults 65 years of age or older.  As gloomy as these statistics might appear at first glance, the good news is that many falls are potentially preventable.  Active Generations offers a balance calls that will last for 6 weeks and we will focus on exercises for the lower body and exercises  to increase good posture and overall mobility.
