Elite Labs Cancer & Pharmaceutical Screenings
Aug 27 @ 10:00 am – 2:00 pm

You may qualify for a FREE Cancer and/or Pharmacogenomics test.

Do you have a personal history of cancer?  Why should you take the test?  These tests can test up to 39 different cancer genes, help lower the risk of cancer by surgery, change of lifestyle, or start screenings to catch cancer early.  If you already have cancer, testing may help guide targeted treatment.

Do  you currently take multiple medications for heart, pain or psychiatric?  These tests can help determine the risk of side effects and/or likelihood of effectiveness of a given medication decreasing the chances of Adverse Drug Reactions.  The tests can determine how well YOU metabolize medications.  Test results are not only important for the medications you are taking but potentially for other drugs prescribed in the future.

Staff members of CJ Sales, LLC, an authorized representative of Elite Laboratories will be on site to conduct tests and answer questions.

Functional Medicine: What Is It and How Can It Help You?
Aug 29 @ 10:30 am – 11:30 am

Functional Medicine is an approach to health care which seeks to identify and treat the root cause of symptoms or disease.  Many chronic health conditions are treated with medications which remedy symptoms but do not fix the underlying problems.  Through Functional Medicine, we strive to embody the true meaning of a whole body approach.  We take time to evaluate symptoms and then start with individualized testing to help uncover the imbalances that could be causing health problems.

When thinking about optimal health, Functional Medicine focuses on imbalances in major body systems and on the cellular level.  The most common body systems that require more in depth testing include Genetics, the Gut, Thyroid, Sex Hormones and Adrenal Function.  Symptoms and conditions that respond well to Functional Medicine approach include hypothyroidism, fatigue, menopause, chronic pain, headaches, weigh gain, inflammation, autoimmune diseases, abdominal pain/bloating, constipation, diarrhea, poor sleep, lack of concentration and depression or anxiety.

Please join Gina Ditta-Donahue, CNP with Mary Wuebben Wellness, to hear more about how a general Functional Medicine approach may help you uncover  your own imbalances.

Register at the Information Window by Friday, August 24.
