For more than 30 years, AARP Driver Safety has helped to keep millions of older drivers safe and confident while on the road.  Now you can experience the new AARP Smart Drivers Course – the latest from AARP Driving Safety.  This new course is based on the latest driver safety research and insights.  When you take it, within the classroom or online – you will learn defensive driving methods and safety strategies to help refresh your knowledge of the rules of the road.  The AARP Smart Driver Course teaches:  defensive driving techniques, new traffic laws and the rules of the road, how to deal with aggressive drivers, how to safely navigate adverse weather conditions and expanded information on automobile technology.

Cost:  $15.00 for AARP members  $20.00 for non AARP members (payable at the first class)

Chicken Soup for the Soul Book Signing

Award winning local author Joyce Heiser will be doing a book signing.  She will be signing her story “The Perfect Dress” which is included in the “Chicken Soup for the Soul:  The Miracle of Love.”  You can purchase a copy of the book for $10 as an Activity Department fundraiser.

Essential Oils: Reflexology

Taught by Emily Paulsen, doTerra representative, this class is a follow up to the Essential Oils Basics class that was held in April, but all are welcome to come.  Reflexology is the technique of applying essential oils to parts of the foot or hand that correspond with different parts of the body.  Your feet have numerous nerve endings targeting organs from all over the body.  Come and learn how to effectively apply essential oils using reflexology.
